Authorities Identify Victim of Warrick Co. Crash


The Warrick County Sheriff's Office has identified the victim of a fatal crash that happened on Thursday morning.

The accident happened around 6:51 a.m. on I-64 eastbound between the Lynnville and Tennyson exits.

Ravin Nasbitt, 26 of Evansville, is being identified by authorities as the driver of an SUV that crashed into the back of a semi. After crashing, the SUV left the roadway and went into an embankment.

Nasbitt was pronounced dead at the scene.

The semi was driven by 58-year-old Marlon Decker of Louisville. Decker was sent to St. Mary's Hospital to be examined.

The investigation into the crash is still ongoing.

Traffic was delayed for nearly three hours due to the crash.

Eyewitness News has learned an early morning accident resulted in one person being killed.

The wreck occurred on Interstate 64 in Warrick county just after 7:00 A.M.

A semi was driving in the right lane on eastbound I-64 between the Lynnville and Tennyson exits.

An SUV hit the rear of the semi and got lodged underneath it.

The SUV driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

The semi driver was taken to the hospital by ambulance with unknown injuries.
