EPD: Marijuana Plants, Pills, Meth Found in Apartment

Evansville Police arrested two people after a broken window became a doorway to an alleged drug operation.

Police were called to an apartment on Parrett St.

The landlord wanted to fix a recently broken window.

Officers made contact with 42-year-old Lori Doughty inside.

Police said a meth pipe was in plain sight.

According to police, four marijuana plants were found along with pills and meth.

Police said Doughty's boyfriend, 26-year-old Tylorian Matthews, was arrested at his work.

Both face several drug charges.

Matthews told police the grow operation was all his and the plants were his babies.
