The Ohio County Sheriff's Office says an escaped inmate is back behind bars after escaping from jail early Sunday morning.
The sheriff's office says 23-year-old Harlen Roebke of Hartford escaped around 2:30 a.m. on Sunday.
At about 7 a.m. on Sunday, a deputy was en route to meet with a Grayson County deputy when he found Roebke's vehicle parked at the Do-Stop Grocery in Caneyville, Kentucky. Roebke tried to escape through the ceiling of the restroom but was apprehended and returned to the Ohio County Detention Center.
Roebke now faces additional charges for escape and theft by unlawful taking.
