A Union County Jail inmate who escaped more than two weeks ago is captured in Oregon.

Officials at the Multnomah County Detention Center confirm 36-year-old Dameon Ford was captured on Thursday on two warrants out of Kentucky.

Ford has been on the run since August 28, when Kentucky State Police say he climbed a brick wall at the Union County Jail.

Ford has been serving a five year sentence on drug charges.

Officials at the Multnomah County Detention Center could not say when Ford will be extradited back to the Union County Jail.
