Executive Director to Leave Wesselman Nature Society

The man behind the playscape project, as well as many others, is stepping down from Wesselman Nature Society effective next week.

Wesselman Nature Society Executive Director John Scott Foster is serving out his last two days here in the Tri-State.

Foster reflected Thursday on what all he has accomplished during his time at Wesselmans.

Some notable achievements include establishing a price of admission, installing a new entrance, exhibits, and the playscape currently under construction.

Foster has been commuting about 800 miles a week from his home in Carmel, Indiana.

The cities proximity is the main reason for his move.

Foster will become executive director of Friends of Hamilton County Parks.
