Freak Out Ride Okayed For Use in Indiana

A beloved Fall Festival ride is okayed to return to the Tri-State in October.

Eyewitness News reported Friday night that West Side Nut Club Fall Festival's ride provider closed down dimilar rides to the one in Ohio after a tragic accident this week at the Ohio State Fair.

However, there is good new for those Freak Out fans. North American Midway Entertainment says Indiana Department of Homeland Security has okayed the ride again for use in the Hoosier state.

This comes after extensive safety checks and talks with the manufacturer of the ride following the accident in Ohio.

While the Freak Out is okayed to be used in Indiana, West Side Nut Club tells us they will not know for sure if it's returning to the Fall Festival this year until September.
