Golfer Unwinds with Family During ULFC

With Thursday marking the first day of tournament play, golfers and their families are settling into the Tri-State for the next several days.

For amateur Trevor Smith and his family, marking themselves at home here is easier than for others.

Smith says it's a lot easier to unwind since his grandparents live just down the road in Lynnville.

Smith's grandma Carol Bunner is happy she doesn't have to travel so see Trevor.

“We have been to Phoenix for the All-American tournament and we had to travel and fly, which I don't like flying at all, but I did it to see Trevor, and now all I have to do is drive 20  miles, which is great.”

Smith's brother is also doubling his caddy this week, giving him a little extra comfort while he's out on the links.
