Gov. Holcomb Announces Community Crossings Grants

Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb was in Jasper Wednesday to announce the awarding of local road and bridge funding through the Community Crossings grant program.

State Rep. Mike Braun joined the governor as Gov. Holcomb announced where more than $150 million would be distributed across Indiana.

“As a part of our long-term and sustainable road funding plan, the Community Crossings program provides local governments with the additional funds they need to make immediate road and bridge improvements in their communities. This significant infrastructure investment will serve as a spark for the local economy, creating jobs and encouraging more businesses to locate and grow here in Southwest Indiana,” said State Rep. Braun.

Braun co-authored the legislation which created the Community Crossings grant program in 2016.
