Greenville, KY Man Charged with Possession, Fleeing Police

A Greenville, Kentucky man was arrested on multiple charges Thursday.

Authorities say they observed a vehicle speeding on State Route 2270 East near Mud River Union Road.

Once authorities caught up with the vehicle near U.S. 431 S. and State Route 2270 West, Dustin Dukes, 28, was put into custody.

We are told that authorities searched Dukes' vehicle and located a plastic bag of suspected crystal methamphetamine as well as a plastic straw that was cut in half containing a white powder residue inside that was found under the drivers seat.

Dukes was taken to the Muhlenberg County Detention Center and charged with:

  1. Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 1st Offense (Meth)
  2. Fleeing or Evading Police, 2nd Degree
  3. Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

We are told Dukes was also served with two outstanding warrants for his arrest out of Muhlenberg County.
