With Spring here, The City of Henderson is ready to help residents clean up their yards and garages.
This year's Spring Clean-up Week is set for April 23 through April 27.
This service within the city is for residential use only.
It is not for vacant property, commercial use or construction/demolition projects.
Tree limbs, furniture and other large items that residents would normally take to the landfill will be picked up during this week, free of charge.
Large items should be kept separate from regular household garbage.
After Henderson residents have their items at the curb or alley, they should call (270) 831-1224 to schedule a pick-up.
Typically, the city has experienced a large participation from residents, so they advise that it may some time for a pick-up to occur.
Tires, batteries, oil, paint, air conditioners and refrigerators cannot be picked up.
