Indiana Sheriffs' Association Scholarship Applications Due April 1

The Dubois County Sheriff's Office has announced that the Indiana Sheriffs' Association will be awarding college scholarships to qualified high school seniors or college students pursuing a criminal justice degree.

Around 40 of the $500 scholarships will be awarded throughout the state.

To qualify for one of the scholarships, applicants must be Indiana residents, be a current member of the association or a dependent child or grandchild of a current member, attend an Indiana college or university, major in law enforcement, and enroll as a full-time student.

Applications are due by April 1.
