Investigators In Delphi Murder Case Notified Of Colorado Arrestee

Indiana State Police detectives have been made aware of a man who was arrested in Colorado Monday.

Our sister station, WISH-TV, reports 31-year-old Daniel Nations was arrested near Woodland Park, Colorado on a charge of possession of a weapon by a previous offender.

Multiple Indianapolis media outlets report Nations allegedly threatened people with a hatchet on a Colorado trail before he was arrested.

Officers in El Paso County said Nations was seen driving a car with expired Indiana license plates, according to WISH-TV. The station also confirms that Nations is a convicted sex offender that lived in Greenwood, Indiana in 2010.

Indiana State Police told WISH-TV they're aware of Nations, but have made no connection to the deaths of Libby German and Abigail Williams, citing the fact that it's too early.
