It was all about jazz, art and some fine wine while supporting Historic Newburgh tonight
The Newburgh Jazz, Art and Wine Festival is one of the most popular events of the season in the Tri-State.
This year’s lineup and weather for the festival did not disappoint.
The festival featured wine from 13 wineries, food from more than 20 local restaurants, and 10 different local artists and musical acts.
The event began Friday with a Great Gatsby/roaring twenties themed party with music from the Honey Vines.
On Saturday, the event continued at noon with food and wine tastings and live music.
"It has just grown and grown and grown. I was talking to the wineries today and they say this is just their favorites, so we have some new ones and some regulars they are all regional Indiana wineries," said Historic Newburgh’s Helen Zimmerman
All of the proceeds from the event will go to support Historic Newburgh -- a non-profit, main street organization dedicated to historic preservation of downtown Newburgh.
Everyone who attended the event also got to take home a wine glass.
