Judge Releases Teen Charged with Threatening School This Week

On Tuesday, Vanderburgh County Sheriff's Deputies arrested an 18-year-old for making threats against Central High School. Eyewitness News has now learned the accused teen is not a student at Central.

On Wednesday, a judge released Morgan on his own recognizance. As a condition of the release, Morgan is ordered to stay away from Central High School.

An initial hearing has been scheduled for January 17.

Sheriff's Deputies say Zachary Tyler Morgan made threats against the school and its resource officer on Monday.

The threats were allegedly sent on his personal email account.

Morgan is charged with false reporting a bomb threat and intimidation.
