Judge says KSP must turn over 911 records for missing woman case

A Frankfort judge has ruled in favor of the mother of Heather Teague in a case for records relating to 911 calls from her disappearance more than two decades ago.

Franklin County Circuit Court Judge Phillip Shepherd ruled that Kentucky State Police must turn over chain of custody records of 911 calls made when Heather's disappearance was first reported.

Sarah Teague claimed calls she listened to last year were different than from when she first heard them in 2008.

Sarah tells Eyewitness News she's very thankful they're finally getting answers and the ruling made a big difference.

We reached out to Kentucky State Police for comment but our request wasn't returned.
