KSP: Three Arrested for Trafficking in Methamphetamine

Sunday, during a traffic stop on the William Natcher Parkway in Daviess County, Kentucky State Police conducted a stop for traffic violations.

Troopers say they observed one of the vehicle's occupants, 22-year-old Joshua Watson, with a digital scale, a rolled up dollar bill and methamphetamine residue sitting in his lap, and that the two passengers of the vehicle, 21-year-old Taylor Elmore, and 23-year-old Brittany Likens, were also in possession of various drug paraphernalia.

Watson and Elmore are from Smiths Grove, Kentucky. Likens is from Glasgow, Kentucky.

Authorities report during the course of the investigation, Elmore attempted to discard two grams of methamphetamine under the trooper’s squad car.

Watson was charged with Trafficking in Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Aggravated Driving under the Influence of Methamphetamine, Improper Use of Left Lane, and Failure to Produce an Insurance Card.

Elmore was charged with Trafficking in Methamphetamine, Tampering with Physical Evidence, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Likens was charged with Trafficking in Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

All subjects are being lodged in the Daviess County Detention Center.
