Kyle Popplewell Sentenced to 86 Years

Popplewell pleaded guilty and was sentenced Friday for the death of Jeff Perry.

A Dubois County man is sentenced Friday for killing a St. Henry, Indiana man in January 2016.

The Dubois County Circuit Court confirms Kyle Popplewell will serve 86 years in prison after pleading guilty to murder, criminal confinement and battery resulting in serious bodily injury.

These charges stem from the stabbing death of Jeff Perry, 37,  and a hostage standoff that followed.
