Several volunteers working to make wishes come true for kids in more ways that one. The Make-A-Wish Cottages for Kids Fundraiser takes place this week.
Seven amazing playhouses are being raffled to provide wishes for Tri-State kids who are facing life-threatening illnesses. Some of the cottages include WiFi, solar panels, a TV, or a toy ride-on.
The Make-A-Wish children voted on Monday on their favorites.
"I had a tie between the cameo army house and the firehouse," said Eli Mayes. "It's cool that there's people who know what they're doing and care about helping others."
The cottages are on display from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Promenade on Evansville's east side until Sunday. Raffle tickets are one for $10 and three for $25.
The winner will be drawn Sunday with the cottage delivered to their home.
