Man Accused in Death of Halee Rathgeber Makes First Court Appearance

With his arms and legs in shackles, the man accused of killing a young Warrick County woman made his first court appearance on Tuesday.

Prosecutors have charged 22-year-old Isaiah Hagan with murder, murder during the commission of a robbery, robbery causing serious bodily injury, and obstruction of justice.

The court entered a preliminary plea of not guilty on his behalf.

Friends and family of the victim, 20-year-old Halee Rathgeber, packed the courtroom for Hagan's arraignment.

Hagan's parents were also there.

Eyewitness News is told Hagan is Rathgeber's ex-boyfriend.

Prosecutors said a probable cause affidavit has been sealed by the court and will remain sealed through at least May 15.
