Man Accused of Selling Heroin to Informant

A man faces charges of dealing heroin after police say a confidential informant conducted a controlled purchase of over a gram of the drug.

Police say Larry Johnson is accused of selling narcotics. Police say the investigation began from a tip that narcotics were being sold at a residence in the 700 block of Washington Ave. where Johnson lives.

Authorities say they found 14 grams of substance which tested positive for heroin in Johnson's bedroom, along with numerous items of paraphernalia.

Johnson was transported to the Vanderburgh County Jail.
