McLean County Public Schools superintendent resigns after three hour, closed door meeting

MCLEAN COUNTY (WEHT) - After a three hour, closed-door meeting with the school board, Eyewitness News learns McLean County Superintendent Terry Hayes has resigned effective immediately.

Last week, the McLean County Public School Board voted to extend the suspension of Hayes.

No details have been released as to why Hayes was suspended, but Hayes has denied any wrongdoing.
