Missing Warrick Co. Boy Found

In Warrick County, a massive search was prompted after a 13-year-old special needs child went missing.

He was eventually found at the Newburgh Wal-Mart around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday.

For three hours nobody knew for sure what happened to him.

His parents say it's not unusual for him to wander away.

But when he didn't turn up at his usual spots, police were called.

Immediately, a small army of officers jumped into action including Ohio Valley Search and Rescue teams.

As deputies made their way to the Wal-mart, employees say they recognized the boy's description.

Moments later, he was found safe in the parking lot.

Eyewitness News is told the boy was found uninjured and reunited with his family.
