Mosquito Spraying in Evansville

Crews will be spraying for mosquitoes in Evansville after a sample group tests positive for West Nile Virus.

The Vanderburgh County Health Department says this is the first positive test in the county this year.

The spraying will take place July 30 between 8 p.m. and midnight.

It will be within an area bound by Covert Ave., Vann Ave., Pollack Ave., and S. Boeke Rd. If weather conditions prevent completion of the adulticiding on the designated date, fogging will resume on the next available day.
