A new Evansville addiction treatment center will be opening soon to help fight the opioid epidemic.
SelfRefind, a CARF accredited organization, announced that its new center in Evansville will start seeing patients later this month. It's the first of several locations planned for Indiana over the next two years.
It will be the company's 20th clinic and it's first in the state.
It will be located at 4847 East Virginia Ave.
“The opioid epidemic is taking an extreme toll on the lives of far too many Americans. Indiana, like other states, has seen a dramatic increase in drug overdoses,” said Steve Priest, CEO. “Our team is not only focused on enhancing the lives of the patients we serve, but in helping rebuild Indiana communities impacted by addiction. It is our desire to be an active member of the local healthcare community and a partner in the fight against deadly disease.”
SelfRefind participates with Indiana Medicaid and is currently accepting new patients from select commercial insurance plans. To schedule an appointment or to get more information, call 812-491-6000.
