Officers Seize Alleged Counterfeit Items From Gas Station

Saturday evening around 6:10 p.m., Excise Officers in Borden, Indiana ran a routine inspection on the Hometown Express Gas station when they say some items displayed for sale were suspected to be counterfeit.

Authorities seized 379 counterfeit Otterbox cases, 499 counterfeit iPhone accessories, and 358 counterfeit Samsung cell phone accessories.

Authorities say administrative charges against the tobacco license are pending review from the Indiana Alcohol and Tobacco Commission.
