Over 3,700 Competing in Owensboro Dog Show

This weekend, the Owensboro Convention Center is going to the dogs as thousands of canines compete for “Best in Show.”

The annual River Valley Cluster Dog Show started on Thursday.

More than 3,700 dogs from in and outside the Tri-State are competing in four days worth of competitions.

That's nearly 860 more than last year.

Organizers added more shows to accommodate for the higher participation.

140 breeds are represented this weekend.

The show continues on Friday and runs through Sunday.
