The O.Z. Tyler Distillery in Owensboro is already planning to expand production less than a year after opening.
Distillery officials say they're working to triple production from 25,000 barrels per year to 75,000.
CEO Earl Hewlette says they're installing more fermentation tanks to make more bourbon.
The increase comes as sales continue growing throughout the bourbon industry.
“We have already... either sold or committed all of our 2017 capacity. We're looking at a market that is asking for more product and we need to figure out how to produce it,” says Hewlette.
The distillery expects it to take at least five months to install the new fermentation tanks.
