Patoka Under Boil Advisory Following Water Main Break

People in Patoka, Indiana woke up to no water on Friday, but the water is now back. However, the community is under a boil advisory until next week.

The water main break was tricky to find because it was deep in the woods.

Equipment is on the way to fix the problem.

The Patoka Water Superintendent said the area where it was found used to be an old road. It's a very isolated area.

The break will take a few hours to fix.

Patoka is officially under a boild advisory until Wednesday, but the water tower is filling up and people should have water pressure.
