Police Chase stretches from Evansville to Hopkins Co.

Eyewitness News is following details on a major police chase involving multiple agencies that started in Evansville and made its way into Hopkins County.

Evansville Police say the chase started on the southeast side of Evansville at Pollack Ave. and Burdette Ave.

Kentucky State Police says the chase made its way across the Indiana-Kentucky state line on U.S. 41 and through the busy Henderson Strip with more than a dozen police cars in pursuit.

KSP confirms four people were taken into custody in Hopkins County. The chase ended east of the Interstate 69 interchange in Hopkins County.

Evansville Police have been examining along the median of Interstate 69 near S. Green River Rd. for any possible items thrown out of the vehicle.
