Police: Henderson Man Tied Up Woman "As a Joke"

Shortly before midnight on Thursday, Henderson Police responded to a residence after they received a report of a stolen handgun.

Police say that Henderson resident Kelsey Williams said she had the handgun stolen from her home, and that 20-year-old Jacob Willingham had been holding the gun the last time she saw it.

Authorities report that another woman, Tiffany Sloan, says that Willingham tied her up, as a joke, and pointed the gun at her.

Police say Sloan claims the gun was loaded.

Authorities say that Willingham maintains that he never touched the gun.

Willingham was arrested for Wanton Endangerment and Possession of a Handgun by a Convicted Felon.

Police say the gun has not been recovered.

No one was injured during the incident.

Anyone with any information regarding this case is asked to contact Officer Kenneth Corman at (270) 831-1295, or Crime Stoppers at (270) 831-1111.

Willingham is currently housed in the Henderson County Detention Center.
