Police: man tried to enter two houses, found hiding in car

Greenville Police arrested a man after he allegedly tried to enter two homes and then hid in a homeowner's car.

Police responded to a complaint on Russell St. around 3:25 a.m. Tuesday.

Police said they located Jeffrey D. Jones, 37, of Greenville hiding in a homeowner's car.

According to police, Jones entered one residence and attempted to enter another.

Jones was arrested on charges of burglary, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and public intoxication.

He's currently lodged at the Muhlenberg County Detention Center.
