Second Suspect Arrested for Leaving Infant in Cold Car

The second of two suspects accused of leaving an infant in a cold car has been arrested in Dubois County.

The Dubois County Sheriff's Office says 22-year-old Austin Elliott of Huntingburg turned himself in on Friday day on neglect and resisting law enforcement charges.

A witness says Elliott and 18-year-old Justice Mundy left an infant in a car overnight when it was reportedly temperatures were below freezing level.

Elliott pleaded not guilty in court on Friday day and is being held on a $1,500 bond. Mundy has been released after posting bond.
