Student Removed from Castle High School Roof

Authorities were notified of a disturbance at Castle High School early Friday morning. Police and Fire crews were called to the school just before 1, after reports of a person on the roof.

Castle principal Doug Gresham tells Eyewitness News the person was a former student who appeared to be intoxicated.

Police, medics and Fire crews responded to the scene.

They were finally able to get the individual off the roof, using a ladder truck.

He was then placed into a waiting ambulance.

No word on his condition, or whether he'll face charges.
