Teen Arrested for Threats Against Central High School

Vanderburgh County Sheriff's Deputies and U.S. Marshals arrest an 18 year-old man for making threats against Central High School.

This is a separate arrest from the events taking hold of Central last week.

According to the arrest affidavit, Sheriff's Deputies say Zachary Tyler Morgan made threats towards the high school and the school's resource officer.

The threats were allegedly sent on his personal email account Monday.

Investigators say the threats were “I have the central police officer, he is dead,” and “I am going to blow up central high school.”

Deputies say Morgan was unable to explain why he made the threats.

He is charged with false reporting a bomb threat and intimidation. This is a different threat made towards the high school.

As we reported last week, a juvenile was arrested for making threats on social media following the death of a former student.
