Toyota, Project Lead the Way award STEM funding for southern Indiana schools

Over 20 southern Indiana schools are getting a financial boost for STEM programming.

Toyota and Project Lead the Way granted $290,000 to 22 Indiana K-12 schools.

The announcement was made Wednesday.

The funding helps schools develop engaging hands-on classroom experiences in the areas of science, technology and mathematics.

The grant will fund the entry-level curriculum for third, fourth, and fifth grade students at Princeton Community Intermediate School.

Project Lead the Way seeks to prepare students to be innovators and problem-solvers for the next generation of highly technical jobs.
