Two Corydon Women Arrested for Trafficking Meth

Authorities say after numerous complaints from Corydon, KY residents regarding heavy drug trafficking around the city, the Henderson Police Department and Kentucky State Police Drug Task Force conducted a search on a Corydon residence in the 400 block of Ninth Street.

Police report they found meth, prescription drugs, drug paraphernalia and handguns during the search.

The residents of the property were not home during the search

The United States Marshals Service Task Force assisted in locating the homeowners, 39-year-old Amanda Yates, and 26-year-old Samantha Jones.

Yates and Jones were found on Thursday.

During the arrest, police say they found more meth and controlled substances on Yates, resulting in additional charges.

Henderson Police say that the trafficking investigation in the area is ongoing and more arrests are likely.
