UPDATE: Body Found and Identified in Evansville Woods

UPDATE

We are told the body found in Evansville has been identified.

The Vanderburgh County Coroner's Office confirms Patrick Williams, 37, was found in the woods near a Vectren substation at 1655 Hoosier Avenue.

We are told an autopsy was conducted today and no trauma was noted.

The Vanderburgh County Coroner's Office says a final determination will be made after return of toxicology tests in three weeks.

Evansville Police say a man between 35 to 45 years old was found dead in the woods near a Vectren substation at 1655 Hoosier Avenue.

Authorities say two teenage hikers found the body.

We are told an autopsy has been scheduled and police continue to investigate. The family of the victim has not been notified.

AMR was called to the scene.

Police say the death does not appear suspicious.
