Vertical Church of Fort Branch, Indiana is holding a groundbreaking ceremony for their new worship facility in Gibson County.
A groundbreaking celebration is being held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, at the site of the new facility, 255 W 800 S, Fort Branch, Indiana.
Vertical Church representatives, Gibson County Chamber, and Empire Contractors will be on hand to celebrate the groundbreaking.
The new 18,000 square foot facility will include a sanctuary, offices, classrooms and a worship
Having outgrown its present facility, the leadership of Vertical Church began to plan for their new home.
In 2011, 26.8 acres of land was purchased on the south end of Fort Branch to build the new facility.
Vertical Church, formally the Fort Branch General Baptist Church, is one of the oldest churches in Gibson County.
