Visitors celebrate Random Acts of Kindness Week at USI

Seniors from Primrose Retirement Community in Newburgh took to the University of Southern Indiana campus Thursday morning to spread some good cheer.

They handed out gift cards and other surprises to students as they headed to class.

The initiative celebrates Random Acts of Kindness Week, which lasts through February 17.

Charles Streng said the reactions of students were priceless.

“The surprise that they have, 'I'm getting something for nothing!' They're amazed. I get blessed more than they do,” said Charles.

The Strengs said they'll be back with more goodies next year.
