Warrick Co. Sheriff Plans to File Charges in Wrong-Way Crash

Warrick County Sheriff Brett Kruse says charges will be filed against Osiel Marroquin, the 18-year-old drive that was allegedly driving the wrong-way in a fatal crash.

Sheriff Kruse says charges will be filed once Marroquin is released from the hospital, but what those charges include is not being released at this time.

Sheriff Kruse says detectives are meeting with the prosecutor Tuesday afternoon to go over those potential charges.

The crash took the life of 15-year-old Skylar Robinson-Williamson early Saturday morning.

Another passenger in the car that was hit, 18-year-old Megan Ripperdan, remains in critical condition.

The Warrick County Sheriff's Office has said Marroquin was driving the wrong way on State Road 62.

He's still in the hospital and the sheriff's office plans to interview him as his condition improves.
