Woman Accused of Stealing Vehicle, Possessing Meth

Jasper Police arrested a woman Friday for allegedly stealing an automobile and possessing meth.

On Wednesday, a red Chevrolet Lumina was reported stolen in Jasper. On Friday, police say that vehicle was seen in a hotel parking lot.

Police say the person associated with the vehicle was identified as Vicki Strotman.

Strotman allegedly admitted to possessing the vehicle, but she denied knowing that it was stolen.

Officers then searched the hotel room where Strotman was staying.

Police say they found meth, drug paraphernalia, and a hypodermic syringe.

Strotman is charged with auto theft, possession of meth, possession of a hypodermic syringe, and possession of paraphernalia.
