Woman Arrested on Drug Charges after Traffic Stop

An Evansville woman is arrested on drug charges after being pulled over for driving without any headlights on.

Angela Borders, 21, was initially pulled over by Evansville Police and cited for driving without ever receiving a driver’s license on Monday on Negley Avenue.

The officer says he saw Borders again, 20 minutes later, driving down Kerth Avenue, and says she was driving without headlights on.

The officer pulled Borders over and arrested her. Clonazepam pills were allegedly found in the car Borders was driving. Borders did not have a prescription for them.

Borders was charged with operating without ever receiving a license and possession of a narcotic. She has since been released.
