Woman Sentenced for Attacking Vectren Meter Reader

An Evansville woman is sentenced for viciously attacking a Vectren meter reader a year and a half ago.

Kimberly Jordan pleaded guilty to a felony charge of battery resulting in serious bodily injury.

She will serve a total of four years - two in prison, and two years of work release.

Authorities say Jordan attacked April Miller-Johnson, a meter reader with Vectren for more than two decades.

In October of 2015, Miller-Johnson pepper-sprayed Jordan's dogs. Police say Jordan then followed her and bashed a metal can against her face.

Miller-Johnson said back in 2015, she's never encountered a situation like this.
