Madisonville Officers Will Not Face Criminal Charges in Fatal Suspect Shooting

- The police officers who shot and killed a suspect in Madisonville will not face criminal charges.

A Hopkins County grand jury has returned a 'no true bill' in the case. That means jurors did not find evidence of intentional wrongdoing.
Kentucky State Police have been handling the investigation since the night of June 21st. Troopers say that's when 35-year-old Douglas Seaton led the officers on a short pursuit, then pulled a gun on them when he stopped.

Officers Ryan Clark and Justin Browning have been on administrative leave through the investigation.
We're told that is standard procedure in officer-involved shootings.
