Marijuana sales are bringing in big bucks for Colorado.

Pot sales generated $3.5 million dollars in taxes and fees for the state in January.
More than $2 million came from recreational marijuana, the rest from medical marijuana.

According to the state department of revenue, $14 million dollars worth of pot was sold in the first month of legal sales.

Colorado is the first state in the nation to legalize recreational marijuana.
