People are enjoying hot brats and cold beer at Germania Mannechor - it's day two of Volksfest.
We got a behind the scenes look at last minute preparations Saturday morning. You may be surprised how many people it takes to make this kind of event such a success. The members of the ladies auxiliary were finishing up the popular German potato salad when we were there.

Organizers say food will be served until midnight.
"They have to do that every morning, we peeled 400 pounds on Wednesday, 400 pounds yesterday and 200 today so that's about a two to three hour process but we still have our pig knuckles and bratwursts night and our famous kraut balls," said Don Qualls, Volksfest Chairman.

Saturday morning is kids day from 11:00 AM to 2:00; there will be free lunch, games, and other contests.
