A moped chase ends when the moped crashes into a police car.

It happened in Evansville late Friday night when an officer says he saw Bejamin Claspell drive through a red light at the intersection of John and Main Street on a moped.

The officer says he tried to stop Claspell, but Claspell just kept going.
More officers joined the pursuit.
We're told a police had stopped in the old Integra Bank parking lot, and when Claspell entered the parking lot, officials say he lost control of the moped and crashed into the police car.

Claspell was taken to Deaconess, where he was found to have a .265 BAC.
He was arrested and taken to the Vanderburgh County Jail.
