Some Indiana senators trying to ease the burden of the rising cost of propane. They're pushing an amendment to a bill that would eliminate the fuel's sales tax, when it's sold for more than $2.50.

Propane is reportedly selling for about $3 a gallon right now. However, some parts of Indiana are seeing double that price.

If passed into law, customers would get a credit on their next propane bill to offset the sales tax paid on the higher priced propane.
