Another effort starts in Kentucky to legalize use of marijuana for medical purposes.
A long-time lawmaker and registered nurse, Representative Mary Lou Marzian, introduced the newest version.
It is similar to one introduced in the Senate last session.
If passed, it would allow patients suffering from cancer, multiple sclerosis, HIV/AIDS, and other serious medical conditions to use the drug with a doctor's recommendation.
A poll taken last may shows 80% of Kentucky adults agree.
