3 Children Safely Escape 'Suspicious' House Fire

-
Fire investigators are calling an early morning fire, suspicious.
Crews were called to a house fire in the 2200 block of Burdette Ave in Evansville around 4:30am.
There was a report there was a flaming mattress outside of the home.
Firefighters tell us the flames then spread to the house itself, and into the attic.
A neighbor called 911 after he says he couldn't get anyone to answer the door.
We're told a woman and 3 children got out safely.
The fire is currently under investigation.
